- Knowledge of ACI architectures, including single site, multi-pod, multi-site.
- Knowledge of ACI components (Tenant, BD, VRF, APIC, L2out and L3out), Nexus DC technologies such as vPC, VXLAN.
- Functional level knowledge of implementing ACI using infrastructure as code and automation tools (Rest API, Ansible).
- Responsible for the Cisco ACI network architecture component(s)
- Understand and support Data Center Networks utilizing Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure and Nexus 9k platforms.
- Contribute to the development and performance of a migration plan from traditional data center network designs to Cisco ACI.
- Integrate service appliances to Cisco ACI deployments to include Application Delivery Controllers and Firewalls.
- Good understanding of Inter and Intra Tenant traffic flows, contracts
- Experience in L2 outs, L3 outs, VMM integration
- Experience in Troubleshooting traffic flows, routing and L3 policies
- Experience troubleshooting/configuration switching like SPT techniques, VLAN trunking, VTP, HSRP vPC Nexus, NX-OS
- Should have knowledge of Cisco Nexus technologies (VPC/VDC/OTV) and have hands on experience on Nexus 7K/5k and 2K
- Experience troubleshooting/configuration management protocols like Netflow, SNMP, NTP, TACACS & RADIUS"
