    We arelooking for a Senior Subcontracts Manager to join our team based inthe Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
    Youll be reporting to theMEET Regional Manager of Subcontracts and Procurement. Thisposition requires extensive experience in managing Projectcontracts and understanding of contract terms intent andapplication.
    Reporting is a key requirement of the roleto ensure accurate forecasting of contract deliverables and beresponsible for proactively managing their own workload.
    Key tasks and responsibilities what youll bedoing
    • Embody the 4Sculture of Safety Speed Simplicity and SelfConfidence
    • Work with Global Product teams (engineering technologycommercial Product Management) supporting the business andfunctional organization to achieve goals primarily focused onProposals Sourcing and Project Contract Execution for EngineeringConstruction and EPC Projects in Europe. This includes:
      • Proposal and estimating support for Projects includingsourcing budget pricing from the market
      • Preparing and executing the Projects Subcontracts Strategyidentifying the life of project requirements including working withplanning and cost/estimating to understand budget allocationsagainst contracts.
      • Prepare and execute thesourcing plan identifying and qualifying suppliers including EPCcompanies engineering & construction suppliers to meet AirProducts requirements and understand safety commercial technicaland capacity risks
      • Drafting and preparationof bidding documents and the Proforma Contract including technicalscope of work pricing schedules QA/QC and HSSE requirements andcontract execution requirements.
      • Leading bidpackages including issue to the market clarifications technical andcommercial evaluations negotiation and placement ofcontracts.
      • Conducting KickOff meetings andleading Subcontract and commercial meetings internally and withSuppliers. Leading the Contracts team meetings (in alignment withProcurement) to manage the contract demand planning and escalatingany potential or actual problems delays or commercial impacts whichcould adversely affect delivery of the contractualprogramme.
      • Responsible for the timelypreparation of legal and contractual documents such as Letters ofInstructions Contract Change Orders / Modifications InsuranceDocuments Subcontractor Approval packages Certificate of FinalAcceptance (COFA) and other legal or contractual packages asneeded
      • Leading the preparation of andnegotiating cost impacts and schedule changes with Suppliers forcontract Change Orders / modifications / claimsassessment.
      • Performance management ofcontracts. Manage relationships with suppliers and maintaininterface at senior level within their organizations.
      • Monitor communicate and respond to changing marketconditions and business drivers to maximize leverage and minimizerisk.
      • Act as an escalation point forcontractor interface for project execution issues whenrelevant
      • Effectively participate inContinuous Improvement activities.
    Criticalcompetencies
    • EPCContract management is critical for this role and understanding ofendtoend contract placement to close out.
    • Core skills in contract management administration and claimsresolution.
    • Strengths in drafting contractsand legal understanding of contract risk and the key clauses forcontract execution and successful delivery of projects
    • Integrates cost forecasting and planning forsubcontracts management throughout the projectlifecycle.
    • Excellent negotiation and contractresolution skills.
    • Strong influencingcommunication and facilitative skills including cross cultures andgeographies
    • Ability to bring teams togetherto achieve targets and goals with clarity on actionplanning
    • Ability to work cross functionallywithin Air Products
    • Demonstrated ability toeffectively communicate (written and verbal) technical andnontechnical information internally and externally.
    • Strong organizational and time managementskills
    • Good analytical and problemsolvingskills
    • Strong understanding of macroeconomicfactors

    • Desire to work in a fastpacedenvironment
    • Excellent knowledge andproficiency with the Microsoft office suite (Excel Word PowerPointOne Note) and collaborative tools.
    • GoodKnowledge of SAP and requisition to pay processes
    What were looking for
    • MRICS and or MCIPS
    • Bachelor of Engineering (preferably Mechanical / Civil) degree isadvantageous.
    • Master of BusinessAdministration is advantageous.
    • Extensiveexperience working in an EPC / Oil and Gas company.
    • Experience in contracts and contractuallanguage.
    • Excellent oral and written Englishproficiency is a must. Second language is advantageous.
