    One of our prestigious clients is looking to hire a Industrial System Management VP, with 12+ years of experience In the Ship building industry who will be responsible for but not limited to:

    Job Overview

    Oversee critical departments, including Production Planning & Control, Design &
    Engineering, and Production Inventories. Ensure seamless coordination of industrial
    systems, operational efficiency, and alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.

    Strategic Responsibilites

    • Align function goals, processes, and resource allocation with the organizational
      strategy while maintaining awareness of commercial and business objectives.
    • Ensure the accomplishment of organizational unit objectives by managing staff;
      planning and evaluating organizational unit activities.
    • Define objectives, identifies, and evaluates trends and options, chooses a course of
      action, and evaluates outcomes.
    • Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual
      budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
    • Support with strategic problems resolution and subjective decision making.

    Managerial Responsibilites

    • Supervise the entire work done by the team members and making sure it is completed on time without any delay.
    • Lead the team to complete tasks and meet goals through delegation of responsibilities and supervising business operations.
    • Set the vision and motivation of the team in order to achieve the sought objectives
      efficiently.
    • Set appropriate and achievable deadlines.
    • Track and report critical organizational unit performance results and escalate and
      negotiate business related issues to senior management.
    • Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

    Functional Responsibilites

    • Oversee ship design and engineering processes, ensuring the creation of innovative and technically advanced vessel designs.
    • Manage ship construction activities, including materials procurement, quality control, and adherence to technical specifications.
    • Oversee production scheduling processes to optimize the use of resources and meet production targets.
    • Manage capacity planning to ensure efficient utilization of manufacturing facilities and equipment.
    • Streamline production workflows, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency
      gains.
    • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to integrate quality control measures into production planning and execution.
    • Provide technical design leadership, ensuring innovative and technically advanced
      product designs.
    • Oversee the coordination of engineering activities, including design reviews and
      technical evaluations.
    • Ensure seamless technical integration of product designs and engineering solutions.
    • Ensure that designs adhere to technical and safety regulations, certifications, and
      industry standards.
    • Collaborate with the supply chain to align inventory management with procurement and production requirements.
    • Implement cost-effective inventory management strategies to minimize holding costs.
    • Collaborate with Project Managers (PM) during the Service negotiation phase to align on program and cost objectives for Shipyard activities, and closely monitor their progress. Identify and implement necessary interventions in case of deviations.
    • Work with the Industrial Methods and C.I. Organizational Unit to oversee the
      development of Production Engineering (PE), including defining production
      methodologies, technological applications, supervising related processes, and
      facilitating product industrialization.
    • Ensure adherence to time and quality objectives outlined in technical engineering
      documentation for coordination and work preparation activities.
    • Oversee the planning and initiation of production activities, as well as control plant
      productivity, commissioning, and sea trials.).
    • Coordinate the technical management centers, in compliance with assigned times,
      costs and quality levels.
    • Supervise the technical management activities to achieve the efficiency objectives of the various areas.
    • Manage corrective interventions of a technical nature, in case of deviations from the established objectives.
    • Identify human and Plant resource needs to ensure optimal functionality of the Shipyard.
    • Guarantee the supervision of the material reception and inventory management activities through appropriate inventory planning activities and expediting to suppliers.
    • Collaborate with the Production Control (PP&C) in defining the programs for issuing the relevant technical documentation from Development Planning and in managing the Pallet Meeting activities (defining criteria, lists, codes and pallet programs).
    • Check the availability of the technical documentation in accordance with the ship program.
    • Manage the support to the Shipyard functions in the management of the NCs (Nonconformity and Changes) and ensure correct follow-up;
    • Verify the completeness of the technical documentation provided by Concept Design, Development Design, or other suppliers.
    • Ensure assistance to the Shipyard functions for launching activities - ship weighing - stability testing - sea trials etc. Assist the Weight and Center of Gravity Management Unit in the collection of weight data in the Shipyards relevant office.
    • Provide technical support to the Shipyards top management in the interface with Customer Rep and Classification Registries.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or any other similar field.
    • Above 12 years of experience in related field including 6 years in a leadership role.
    • Master's Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering or any other similar field.
