    Overview

    GovCIO is currently hiring for a Communications and Project Planner. This position will be located in

    PSAB, KSA, ASAB, Kuwait and UDAB, UAB. and will be onsite.

    Responsibilities

    Must be knowledgeable of financial and project management functions. Develops budgets and work schedules according to project requirements. Responsible for cost estimation and control. Monitors project progress and makes adjustments as needed. Coordinates interdepartmental participation to meet project requirements. Maintains lines of communication among project team members. May be responsible for risk management. Must be available to address the needs of the project effort. May have acquired CAPM(PMI).

    Qualifications

  • High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)
  • Clearance required: Secret
  • Certifications: Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) Outside Plant Design (Course/Certified); OR USAF Engineering and Installation Project Engineering (Course/Certified).
  • 6 years' practical experience in support of communications electronic systems or equipment.
  • Have the technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand the interrelationships of circuits, understand IP routing and architecture design, and be able to exercise independent judgment in performing tasks.
  • 6 years' engineering experience in: telecommunications; and physical infrastructure.
  • 3 years' experience in military communication systems, as specified in the TO.
