    For this bid , we are seeking a Head of Rolling Stock Maintenance as part of DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH, KSA Branch.   • Control the contractor's rolling stock maintenance and inspection activities including depots and depot equipment in compliance with work plans
  • Develop and execute knowledge transfer for all rolling stock maintenance related disciplines
  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and storage of rolling stock (trains) and related facilities (depots), and ensuring that rolling stock is in optimal condition for safe and reliable operations.
  • Supervise depot managers and maintenance staff, ensuring adherence to safety and maintenance standards.
  • Manage depot facilities, ensuring that they meet safety and environmental standards.
  • Implement inventory management systems for spare parts and equipment.
  • Coordinate with scheduling and operations teams for rolling stock availability.
  • Monitor rolling stock performance and reliability, and implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Monitor compliance with safety standards and regulations for all fleet.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance and infrastructure teams to optimize asset performance.
  • Coordinate with external contractors and engineers for specialized rolling stock maintenance projects.
  • Control the contractor's rolling stock maintenance quality in compliance with KPIs
  • Qualifications:
  • Project management skills
  • Rolling Stock maintenance background in eitherpassenger highspeed or long distance intercity
  • Min. academic degree: B.Sc. Engineering
  • Min. 10 years in rail industry
  • Min. 5 years in leadership position
  • Min. 10 years in a similar position
  • International experience, preference GCC
  • English (fluent), Arabic (preferred), German (preferred)
  • MS office, MS Project, MS Sharepoint, IBM Maximo or similar tools
  • Willingness to sign a local contract with the KSA branch
