    The Food& Beverage Cost Controller plays a pivotal role in theHORECA industry with a primary responsibility for ensuringcostefficiency and profitability within the food and beverageoperations of our establishment.

    This position part of the financeteam is dedicated to controlling costs optimizing inventorymanagement and contributing to the financial success of our foodand beverageservices.


    CostControl and Analysis:
    Monitor and analyze food and beverage costs identifying trends anddiscrepancies.
    Implement costcontrol measures to optimize expenses while maintainingquality.
    Collaborate with kitchenand bar teams to assess portion control and recipeadherence.
    Conduct regular costaudits and variance analysis to pinpoint areas forimprovement.


    InventoryManagement:
    Oversee inventory levels for food and beverage items ensuringaccurate tracking.
    Establish andmaintain par stock levels to prevent overstocking orshortages.
    Implement inventorycontrol systems and procedures to reduce waste andpilferage.
    Coordinate withsuppliers to negotiate favorable terms andpricing.


    BudgetingandForecasting:
    Assist in the development of annual budgets for food and beverageoperations.
    Provide input anddata for financial forecasting helping to set realistictargets.
    Track actual expensesagainst budgeted figures identifying variances and takingcorrectiveactions.


    SupplierRelations:
    Maintain strong relationships with food and beveragesuppliers.
    Evaluate supplierperformance and negotiate contracts for costeffectiveprocurement.
    Monitor the qualityand consistency of incomingproducts.


    ReportingandDocumentation:
    Prepare and maintain accurate records of food and beverage costsand inventory.
    Generate regularreports on cost control and inventory management for managementreview.
    Communicate costsavingopportunities and recommendations to relevant stakeholders

    Additional Responsibilities:
    Undertake weekly Food Flash Reports at outlets as requested by theCFO or COO.
    Coordinate weeklyinventory checks providing detailed reports to the CFO/COO alongwith action plans to addressdiscrepancies.
    Deliver Month EndCost Reports to the CFO and COO as part of the operation andF&A SOP.
    Investigate anycostrelated issues and provide action plans to rectify identifiedproblems.

    Requirements

    Qualificationsand Experience:

    Bachelor s degree in finance Accounting or a relatedfield.
    Professional QualifiedCertification of ICWA CMA.
    Minimum of 7 of relevant experience in food and beverage costcontrol within the HRECAindustry.
