ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ADMINISTRATOR(Permanent)
Our client, an established manufacturing company in Buffalo, NY, is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Administrator to join their growing ;

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and clerical functions
  
• Perform daily processes for accounts payable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations ensuring accuracy
  
• Prepare financial and statistical reports
  
• Update financial records in accounting software including, but not limited to, invoices, customer credits, expense reports, and receipts
  
• Prepare checks for payment to suppliers and track payments
  
• Generate invoices and mail out in a timely manner
  
• Maintain database of outstanding bills
  
• Accept all cash/checks and maintain accurate records of receipt
  
• Review financial reports for accuracy, reconcile errors, and report to upper management
  
• Run credit reports on potential customers
  
• Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, answering the phone, responding to emails,
  
• Generate weekly/monthly progress reports and post appropriately
  
• Complete special projects as necessary
  
• Other duties as assigned/as necessary
  

Details:

• Position is full time, direct hire
  
• Role is 100% in-office

• High School diploma required
  
• Knowledge of general accounting principles
  
• 2+ years relevant experience
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
  
• Excellent accounting and math skills
  
• Strong attention to detail
  
• Work well under deadlines
  
• Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  
• Strong organization skills and time management skills
  
• Self-motivated
  
• Relocation not available
