    Role Description:

    • We are currently seeking a highly skilled Materials Advisor to join the Planning & Performance Management Division (PPMD) of our Technology Oversight & Coordination department.
    • PPMD plays a crucial role in providing centralized shared services to our renowned R&D organization.

    Responsibilities:

    • As a Materials Advisor, you will play a key role in managing various aspects of materials procurement and related processes.
    • Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
    • Timely processing of material requests.
    • Utilizing SAP Material Management (MM) Module for efficient workflow.
    • Developing justifications and recommendations for requested materials.
    • Establishing procedures related to materials procurement.
    • Expediting the delivery of ordered materials.
    • Cataloging items and maintaining accurate records.
    • Reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
    • Supporting knowledge transfer and team development through coaching and guidance.
    • Developing high-level presentations for management.
    • Negotiating with third parties as part of negotiating teams.
    • Reviewing technical specifications of requested materials and providing guidance to proponents.
    • Preparing materials forecasting.

    Requirements:

    To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering from a recognized and approved program (advanced degree preferred)
    • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the areas specified in the Position Description.
    • Proven ability to influence internal and external senior and executive management.
    • Strong sense of accountability and determination to achieve goals and objectives.
