This position is responsible for managing various cost and commercial deliverables from project inception through to project award, with support from junior colleagues.

This includes, but is not limited to, preparation and review of feasibility estimates, benchmarking, cost plans, bills of quantities and pre-tender estimates, value engineering, engaging suppliers and managing consultants.

The Senior Manager will also be relied upon to identify risks and suggest risk mitigation strategies and monitor market trends.

To be successful in this role, the Senior Manager will be highly motivated and demonstrate sound technical knowledge. The candidate will be eager to further develop their leadership skills and management responsibilities. The position requires strong pre-contract experience (preferably locally) and knowledge of various methods of measurement.

• BSc degree in Quantity Surveying or similar (Chartered Status preferred)
• 7+ Years relevant experience

Provide advice to internal business units on cost throughout the design phase
Prepare rough order of cost estimates
Ensure the application of value management techniques at the outset of a project
Ensure the cost consultants are providing deliverables in accordance with their contract and to the standard expected of Roshn
Prepare benchmarking reports
Prepare and maintain project dashboards, including monitoring of project budget throughout the design phase
Actively participate in meetings with other business units
Prepare and review value engineering registers
Review and interrogate cost plans, bills of quantities and pre-tender estimates prepared by external consultants
Review and interrogate tender returns, including side-by-side commercial evaluations and preparation of tender queries
Support the Procurement department with advice and analysis of commercial responses, including attendance and participation in meetings with bidders
Present to internal business units on issues concerning project costs and status of commercial items
Monitor material and labor costs in Saudi Arabia across the various regions
Engage with the local market, namely contractors, engineering firms and consultants, to obtain relevant cost data
Be a key member of the department who can be relied upon to provide accurate and timely advice
