Our client is a leading contracting companyin Saudi Arabia seeking a skilled andexperienced Project Director to jointheir team. As a Project Director you will lead and manage projectexecution teams and technical teams ensuring the successfulexecution of large Infrastructure projects adhering to quality andsafety standards and fostering clientsatisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeingand managing the whole construction cycle of the project andmanaging the different departments to ensure smooth executionmeeting milestones and handing over theproject.
• Develop the strategy and executionplan on large capital projects.
• Liaising withclients and building strong workingrelationships.
• Deliver on all technical andcommercial aspects of the project as per the contractrequirements.
• Manage all programme risk andcontingencies.
• Manage the Project Managersperformance of delegated responsibility.
• Managethe achievement of department objectives through effectiveleadership and by managing the setting of individual objectivesmonitoring and measuring performance and developing and motivatingthe team to maximize performance.
• Manage theconsolidation and recommend the Project budget and monitorfinancial performance versus the budget to identify any variancesor performance improvement areas.
• Lead andmonitor the implementation and adherence of department/projectpolicies systems processes procedures and controls so that allrelevant procedural/ legislative requirements are fulfilled whiledelivering a quality costeffective service in a consistentmanner.
• Monitor the QualitySafetyEnvironment(QSE) of his project and running a monthly sitevisit.

Qualifications:

• 25years of professional experience in Project Management in afastpaced and dynamic environment of which 10 years have been inthe Middle East.
• Experience in leading oninfrastructure mega projects including landscape/hardscape watertreatment plant utilities drainage buildings MEP special systemsand public realm roads & bridges.
• Aminimum of 15 years operating at senior management and directorlevel.
• Proven success in the delivery of largecapital projects within scope time andbudget.
• Experience in the planning managing andsuccessfully delivering on projects involving numerousstakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead organizeand direct large multinationalorganization.
• Comprehensive working knowledgeof governing bodies committees and regulatory organizations withinKSA.
• Bachelors degree in Engineering orequivalent from a recognized and accredited university. (PreferablyCivil Engineering)
• Masters degree ispreferred.
• Excellent verbal and writtencommunication; Fluency in Arabic andEnglish.
