- Conduct analysis and design of onshore building and non-building structures using structural analysis software such as STAAD and ETABS
- Perform design review of engineering packages prepared by others in support of ongoing Capital and Maintain Potential projects
- Develop and interpret code and standard requirements for onshore structural designs
- Assess and carry out full structural analysis, including wind/seismic/piping forces, for onshore buildings and industrial structures
- Participate in Engineering Standard development and reviews
- Conduct vendor technical assessments for structural steel fabricators and similar commodities
- Conduct technical/structural inspections and assessments of existing structures
- Support ongoing Innovation/Technology programs and strategic initiatives
- Assess new and emerging technologies for civil/structural applications
- Act as a professional mentor to developing structural engineers and specialists
- Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. Master's Degree is a plus.
- Professional Engineering or Chartered Engineering Certification
- Minimum eight (8) years of professional engineering design experience in the design of onshore building and non-building structures.
- Familiarity with AISC and ACI structural design standards
- Proficient in structural engineering design software (STAAD, ETABS)
- Good communication skills and be comfortable working both independently and with cross-departmental teams.
