    About our client:

    Our Client operates in the Oil and Energy industry, with its headquarters rooted strongly in Saudi Arabia. They are constantly growing by creating new technologies through its Research and Development efforts and branch into new business lines through Investments and Acquisitions.

    Responsibilities :

    • Conduct analysis and design of onshore building and non-building structures using structural analysis software such as STAAD and ETABS
    • Perform design review of engineering packages prepared by others in support of ongoing Capital and Maintain Potential projects
    • Develop and interpret code and standard requirements for onshore structural designs
    • Assess and carry out full structural analysis, including wind/seismic/piping forces, for onshore buildings and industrial structures
    • Participate in Engineering Standard development and reviews
    • Conduct vendor technical assessments for structural steel fabricators and similar commodities
    • Conduct technical/structural inspections and assessments of existing structures
    • Support ongoing Innovation/Technology programs and strategic initiatives
    • Assess new and emerging technologies for civil/structural applications
    • Act as a professional mentor to developing structural engineers and specialists

    Requirements :

    • Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. Master's Degree is a plus.
    • Professional Engineering or Chartered Engineering Certification
    • Minimum eight (8) years of professional engineering design experience in the design of onshore building and non-building structures.
    • Familiarity with AISC and ACI structural design standards
    • Proficient in structural engineering design software (STAAD, ETABS)
    • Good communication skills and be comfortable working both independently and with cross-departmental teams.
