    Role Summary:

    In this role you will perform documented inspections in the verification of conformance of parts to applicable drawings, procedures, specifications, and all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. The QC Engineer is responsible for the content of the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and project quality plan according to customer's and Flowserve's specifications and international standards. Besides, the QC Engineer is responsible for defining, advising, and controlling all project required QC documents. The right candidate shall have direct experience in Pump's OEM industry. The QC Engineer reports directly to the Quality Supervisor/Manager.

    Responsibilities:

  • Perform documenting dimensional, visual, painting and welding inspections to the drawing or applicable procedures.
  • Documenting non-conforming material utilizing an NCR (nonconforming materials) process
  • Reviewing and verify internal and external qualifications of suppliers, welders, NDE personnel with regard to Non-Destructive Examinations (NDE), welding procedures, painting procedures and/or other applicable requirements.
  • Reviewing and approve supplier's manufacturing and testing documents/procedures and to take care for approval (when required) of these documents by the customer, his customer and the authorized inspection body
  • Preparing and define test and inspection requirements for the required projects such as ITP and procurement specifications
  • And any other duties assigned

    • Requirements:

  • B.Sc. in Engineering with 5-7 years relevant experience in Pump's OEM environment
  • Certification in Welding inspection i.e., AWS CWI or CSWIP 3.1 is must
  • Certification in Painting inspection i.e., NACE Level II, SSPC Level II or equivalent is must
  • Conversant with Saudi Aramco Standards requirements. He must hold QM26 and preferably QM35 & QM36 qualifications as well.
  • Knowledge of welding, NDE and quality systems- Certified internal/Lead Auditor 9001:2015
  • Knowledge of the established quality standards, laws and regulations of national and international authorities
  • Must have knowledge of inspection equipment generally found in machining, assembly and test operations of pumps and associated accessories.
