    JOB PURPOSE:

    Jobholders at this level carry out specific tasks independently but are subject to close supervision. They research, collect and analyze information, draft reports and documents, participate in specific meetings and develop their own professional expertise.

    They undertake simple operational activities including m onitoring operations on ports, following up on the implementation of latest projects, and conducting regular periodic checks at ports' level.

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
    • Develop plans for ports' security operations in line with ZATCA's strategic priorities, set overall security plans, highlighted gaps, and best practices and in coordination with ports managers and Security Planning and Monitoring function
    • Coordinate with relevant law enforcement authorities to minimize violations of operations on ports' premises and ensure continuous improvement of work efficiency
    • Coordinate with concerned internal functions to ensure compliance with legalized procedures for destruction and seizure of restricted, smuggled, and unauthorized goods and products
    • F ollow up on implementation of latest projects at ports' premises, handle projects' documentations and ensure application of proper archiving systems to facilitate future data retrieval if needed
    • Conduct periodic checks and quality assurance oversight to highlight operational gaps and dispatch to Security Planning and Monitoring function for policies and procedures' update
    • Ensure implementation of corrective actions derived from KPIs assessment reports and internal audit findings in coordination with ports managers
    • Report back any technical or operational issues that arise and might affect operations to ensure high-quality standards of operations
    • Develop periodical reports highlighting progress of security operations on all ports' premises, key findings after implementation of corrective plans, challenges faced, and report back to relevant internal and external stakeholders
    • Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
    • Help in solving escalated problems and provide needed support for junior team to ensure work is carried out in an efficient manner
    • Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases/issues are closed properly
    • Perform other duties as requested

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

    • 1 year of relevant experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent
