One of our prestigious clients in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is looking to hire Cybersecurity and Data Management Director, with 12 years of experience alligning to the shipbuilding industry to be based in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Job Overview

Shape and direct cybersecurity and data management strategies to ensure the safeguarding of sensitive information, regulatory compliance, and the effective management of cybersecurity risks.

Strategic Responsbilities

• Align division goals, processes, and resource allocation with the organizational strategy while maintaining awareness of commercial and business objectives.
• Ensure the accomplishment of organizational unit objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating organizational unit activities.
• Define objectives, identifies, and evaluates trends and options, chooses a course of action, and evaluates outcomes.
• Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
• Maintain quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards, analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems, and recommending system improvements.
• Support with strategic problems resolution and subjective decision making.

Managerial Responsibilities

• Supervise the entire work done by the team members and making sure it is completed on time without any delay.
• Lead the team to complete tasks and meet goals through delegation of responsibilities and supervising business operations.
• Set the vision and motivation of the team in order to achieve the sought objectives efficiently.
• Set appropriate and achievable deadlines.
• Track and report critical organizational unit performance results and escalate and negotiate business related issues to senior management.
• Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

Functional Responsibilities

• Devise and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that aligns seamlessly with the companys overarching objectives, diligently safeguarding our critical systems and data assets.
• Establish and preside over an all-encompassing data management framework, meticulously emphasizing data quality, integrity, and unwavering compliance with stringent data protection regulations.
• Undertake the meticulous identification, appraisal, and wise management of cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities, deploying robust mitigation measures and orchestrating foolproof incident response plans.
• Ensure absolute compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Articulate and reinforce the authority of cybersecurity policies, methodologies, and benchmarks, ensuring their continued alignment with industry best practices and the ever-evolving regulatory landscape.
• Drive the conception and orchestration of expedient incident response and recovery protocols, capably coordinating responses to cybersecurity incidents and data breaches.
• Oversee data encryption regimes that fortify data protection for data both at rest and during transit, methodically adhering to industry benchmarks.
• Direct data lifecycle governance by meticulously delineating data retention policies and deviously managing secure data disposal processes in strict compliance with legal and regulatory prerequisites.
• Examine and skillfully advocate for cybersecurity technologies and solutions, enriching our security posture through judicious recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Management or any other similar field.
• Above 12 years of experience in related field including 6 years in a leadership role.
• Master's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Management or any other similar field is preferred
