    Job Description:

    As a Control Valves Services Technician, you will be responsible for independently handling activities related to valve overhauling, repair, assembly, and testing of manual (on/off), safety relief, and control valves, fittings. You will work alongside a team of valve technicians to perform coordinated tasks.

    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Inspections, Checks & Overhauls: Conduct visual inspections, checks, and condition assessments of all types of valves (on/off isolation, safety relief, and control valves). Disassemble, clean valve components, inspect, and repair/overhaul valves as per standard procedures. Maintain and replace all instruments (control system, electrical/pneumatic valves, thermocouples). Set up and test all types of valves and fittings. Complete valve assembly works (installation and extending equipment on site at customers' premises) and calibrate all controlling equipment, controlling loop designing. Install, repair, and maintain mechanical regulating and controlling devices, such as electric meters, gas regulators, thermostats, safety and flow valves, and other mechanical governors.
    2. Disassemble and repair mechanical control devices or valves, such as regulators, thermostats, or hydrants, using power tools, hand tools, and cutting torches.
    1. Administration & Reporting: Report all findings, operations, and processing of each completed task (repair scope, inspection, test, and overhaul reports) to the Supervisor.
    1. Customer Contact: Provide technical feedback about the job status to the Supervisor.

    Requirements:

    Skills

    Education:

    • Diploma in Instrumentation & Control from a minimum of a technical school.
    • Knowledge of valve repair/overhaul/testing according to standards, API, ASME.

    Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of relevant work experience in valve manufacturing/valve repair industry. Industry experience (technical services companies) is beneficial.
