cTrace Solutions isactively recruiting for multiple Registered Nurses for our clientin New York, NY. There are positions available in the Bronx,Queens, Brooklyn and Manhattan. *Initially 3 months, with potentialfor extensionbeyond

Applicantscan expect to conduct mental health evaluations, crisisinterventions, assessments, and follow-up care, and collaboratewith the Department of Correction to ensure access to patients,proper housing, and treatment disposition.

Responsibilities:

• Providemental health care to incarcerated adults and conduct mental healthevaluations, crisis interventions, assessments, and follow-upcare.
  
• Determineand coordinate disposition of patients for appropriate level ofmental healthcare.
  
• Coordinatewith Reentry Social Workers for appropriate discharge planningservices.
  
• Completerequired statisticalreports.
  
• Collaboratewith the Department of Correction to ensure access to patients,proper housing, and treatmentdisposition.
  
• Coordinatepatient care with other institutionalprograms.
  
• Developand lead group treatment on mental health observation units andother units asassigned.
  
• Completeall requireddocumentation.
  
• Participatein clinical supervision with Clinical Supervisor at least once aweek.
  
• Participatein mental health and medical rounds asassigned.
  
• Participatein case conferences and treatment planning for patients receivingand being considered for mental healthtreatment.
  
• Conductpsychological testing asassigned.
  
• Supervisesocial work interns or student volunteers asassigned.
  
• Performother duties as assigned by Unit Chief, Assistant Unit Chief, andClinicalSupervisor.
  

Requirements

• Mastersdegree in Social Work, Psychology, or relatedfield.
  
• NewYork State License in Social Work, License in Mental HealthCounseling, or licensure inPsychology.
  
• Atleast 2 years of experience assessing and treating adults withbehavioral problems, substance use histories and severe mentalillness.
