Education and Experience: A college degree ina related field such as hospitality management, marketing, oreducation may be required. Previous experience running camps oreducational programs would bebeneficial.

Leadership and organization: Theability to lead and direct the work team, and organize theactivities and programs provided in thecamp.

Administrative skills: Human resources andbudget management skills, and the ability to plan variousactivities and events.

Communication and PublicRelations: The ability to communicate with camp workers, families,and external parties such as schools and the localcommunity.

Safety and First Aid Knowledge: A deepunderstanding of outdoor safety and first aid procedures isimportant.
