    We are seeking an Entry Level Accountant to support the Senior Controller with day to day accounting The ideal applicant will be detail oriented, professional, and be able to problem solve This position involves internal and external correspondence, therefore professionalism is ;


    Job Responsibilities:
    Enter company invoices into accounts payable software for payment
    Reconcile bank accounts monthly
    Assist with journal entries in general ledger
    Track and enforce monthly credit card reporting deadlines with staff
    Maintain direct mail tracking spreadsheets for expense allocations
    Manage relationships and correspondence with vendors including requesting W-9 s and
    assisting with annual 1099 process
    Set up and manage staff accounts for travel booking software
    Support Senior Controller with monthly close process and annual internal audit as needed
    Liaison with HR team to build and maintain insurance records and policies
    Assist HR with enforcing timesheet deadlines and other ad hoc issues
    Facilitate communication between staff and Accounting
    Assist with annual state fundraising renewals
    Learn donation tracking processes and donor record management in SalesForce
    Other tasks as assigned


    Skills Preferred:
    Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or 1+ years of previous accounting experience
    Comfortable working in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
