    Join our Energy team within Flow Equipment division in Saudi Arabia as Senior Tendering Engineer - EBU to help us take Tendering Department to the next level.

    In this role you will be accountable for:

  • Ensuring that the sales team are adequately supported and that projects are launched in a timely and professional manner.
  • Evaluation of customer pump application requirements to ensure that the company can satisfy customer needs in terms of both product and pricing.
  • Provision of sales forecasts and monthly sales figures to demonstrate company performance against targets.
  • Responsibility to ensure that initiated projects meet company requirements in terms of selection, pricing, terms and conditions and lead time.
  • Responsibility to ensure that customer requirements are satisfied whilst meeting SSPC targets.
  • Overall responsibility to ensure that tenders meet company commercial guidelines and have the necessary sign off in accordance with the delegation of authority guidelines.
  • Overall responsibility for calculating the profit margin on SSPC tenders based on costs obtained from other Sulzer group companies, SSPC Mgmt. or third-party suppliers.
  • Day to day review of enquiries in conjunction with the Area Sales Manager O & G and/or Head of Sales, O & G.
  • Overall responsibility to ensure that Order Entry Documentation is completed in accordance with handover guidelines and procedures and company KPIs.
  • Ensure that handover meetings with projects are effective and result in a smooth transition from pre to post order status.
  • Ensure application of Sulzer tools and policies, procedures, codes of conduct and best practice guidelines.
  • Attendance at relevant sales meetings and RFC (Rolling Forecast) meetings and ensure that all relevant information from relevant projects is available for the sales team.
  • Attend technical & commercial clarification/negotiation meetings with clients as required.
  • Participate in and actively support company initiatives.
  • Familiar with the environmental aspects and impacts of the activities and processes involved in the role and the procedures, practices, and measures to manage the impact.
  • Familiar with the risks and hazards within the activities and processes of the role and procedures, practices, and measures in place to mitigate the risks.
  • Ability to work autonomously without any supervision and able to understand Company's product pricing, ability to competitively price up all Company's products as well as big projects.
  • To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant experience within related industry
  • 3 -5 Years experience.
  • Experience of dealing with complex tenders.
  • Experience of handling technical clarification meetings.
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineer or equivalent.
  • Languages: English - Arabic.
  • Negotiating skills.
  • Influencing and persuasion skills.
  • Relationship management skills.
  • Commercial acumen & common sense.
