    Siemens Energy is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Sr. Automation Engineer to join our team. As a Sr. Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to customers in the energy industry, specifically related to our products and services. You will work closely with our sales and service teams to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service and support.

    How You'll Make an Impact

    • Provide technical support and expertise to customers in the energy industry, specifically related to Siemens Energy solutions.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Siemens Energy products and services.
    • Work closely with sales and service teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs and exceed their expectations.
    • Provide training to customers on Siemens Energy products and services, as needed.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty to Siemens Energy.
    • Lead technical projects and initiatives to improve product and service quality, customer satisfaction, and efficiency.
    • Analyze and report on customer feedback and product performance data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement efforts.
    • Conduct site visits to clients' locations to perform requested services.
    • Ability to communicate clearly with end users and establish a site report prior to completing the site visit.
    • Knowledge on the safety procedures for Saudi Aramco.

    What You'll Bring

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related technical field.
    • Minimum 08 years of experience in Siemens PLC, ESD and SCADA design programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting
    • Proven experience as an Automation Engineer in a lead or senior role.
    • Hands on experience in PCS7, ESD and Fire alarm Systems, including system virtualization and domain server configurations
    • Good working knowledge of Siemens fail safe system including Safety Matrix, H-System CPUs, and logic Matrix
    • Hands on experience on Modbus (TCP/IP and Serial), DNP3 and OPC interface.
    • Good knowledge of PCS 7 telecontrol including DBA configuration and on-site troubleshooting
    • Ability to develop PCS7 and PLC programs based on reading schematics and interpreting customer specifications
    • Siemens Control Servers configuration including Server client architecture, Cyber security implementation and system hardening
    • Hands-on experience on Switch Hardening including port configuration, V-LAN setting and user authorization
    • Strong technical expertise and knowledge of Siemens Energy products and services.
    • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
    • Proven ability to lead technical projects and initiatives to improve product and service quality, customer satisfaction, and efficiency.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to travel to customer sites, as needed.

    Preferred Knowledge And Skill

    • Ability to troubleshoot control loops and software program.
    • Network architecture design
    • Industrial instrumentation selection, configuration, commissioning, and troubleshooting
    • Technical experience on Terminal Management system (TMS)
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience of working in both Water and Oil & Gas industries
    • Engineers having trainings on RTU's, TMS, ESD, SCADA system will be given preference.
