Caffeine Lab Coffee Roasters is a fast-growing specialty coffee company that is dedicated to sourcing and roasting the highest quality beans from around the world. We are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team and assist in the strategic management of our supply chain. As a Procurement Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our company has a steady and reliable supply of coffee beans, as well as other essential materials and equipment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for coffee, excellent negotiation skills, and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Identify and build relationships with coffee bean suppliers and other vendors
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to obtain the best possible deal for the company
• Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to optimize efficiency and cost savings
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure adherence to quality, delivery, and service requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that procurement activities align with production schedules and market demand
• Forecast supply and demand trends to anticipate potential shortages or excess inventory
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential new suppliers and emerging trends in the coffee industry
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as needed
