Job Description

Roles & responsibilities:
Oracle Technical Consultant for Oracle Fusion typically includes the following responsibilities:

Technical design and development:
Collaborating with clients and functional consultants to understand business requirements and designing technical solutions using Oracle Fusion technologies.

Customization and extension:

Developing customizations, extensions, and integrations to enhance the functionality of Oracle Fusion applications using tools such as Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF), Oracle Fusion Middleware, and Oracle Integration Cloud.

Data migration and conversion:
Assisting in data migration activities, including data mapping, extraction, transformation, and loading into Oracle Fusion applications.

Performance tuning and optimization:
Identifying and resolving performance issues, optimizing system configurations, and ensuring smooth and efficient operation of Oracle Fusion applications.

Technical documentation:

Creating technical design documents, configuration guides, and other documentation to support the implementation and maintenance of Oracle Fusion applications.

Troubleshooting and support:

Assisting in the resolution of technical issues, system errors, and integration problems reported by end-users or identified during testing and production support.

• Collaboration with functional and technical teams: Working closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and other technical teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment between functional requirements and technical solutions.

Testing and quality assurance:
Participating in system testing, conducting unit testing, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of technical deliverables.

• Keeping up-to-date with Oracle Fusion technologies: Staying informed about the latest Oracle Fusion updates, new features, and industry best practices related to technical development and integration.

Required Skills and Experience:

Oracle Fusion Middleware:

Proficiency in Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies such as Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Service Bus, Oracle WebLogic Server, and Oracle Identity and Access Management.

• Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF): Strong knowledge and experience in developing customizations, extensions, and user interfaces using Oracle ADF.

Oracle Fusion Data Integration:

Expertise in data integration techniques and tools, such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and Oracle GoldenGate, for seamless data flow and synchronization between Oracle Fusion applications and other systems.
