Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the traditional trade market.
- Manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers to ensure optimal product visibility and availability.
- Analyze market trends and sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional campaigns that align with sales objectives.
- Train and support sales personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and tools to succeed.
- Monitor competitor activities and market conditions to stay ahead of trends.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to the senior management team.
- Conduct regular market visits to assess performance and develop strategies for improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar role within the traditional trade sector.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
