- Designing and developing test automation scripts following test automation guidelines
- Researching issues in software through thorough testing
- Collaborating with BA and Software Developers to develop innovative solutions
- Keeping updated with the latest industry developments and implementing best practices
- Researching and evaluating new tools, technologies, and testing processes
- Creating test plans and writing comprehensive acceptance criteria for requirements/user stories
- Designing, implementing, executing, and assessing software quality through Automation and API tests to ensure product quality
- Maintaining the system test plan and other related documentation
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, or any related field
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in automation testing
- Experience in web automation frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress
- Experience in Mobile test automation tools and frameworks such as Cucumber and Appium
- Experience in API Testing Automation tools such as SOAPUI and Postman
- Fluency with web debugging and profiling tools like Chrome DevTools and Firefox Developer Tools
- Proficiency in Java and JavaScript
- Experience in automating build processes, application deployments, and continuous integration systems with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and Jenkins
- Functional frontend/backend testing experience across multiple platforms including Web App, Mobile App, and Microservices
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it
