Del-Ponte is a Talent Development & Acquisition Boutique Firm operating across the GCC and the Middle East.

Our client is a 40-year-old construction company in Saudi Arabia, specializing in infrastructure and sewage projects. In line with their current expansion, they are actively hiring, and we have been entrusted by our client to manage the recruitment of their core team.

The below position is for a Project Director.

1. Position Overview:

The Project Director plays a crucial leadership role, overseeing the progress, finance, and quality of various projects. This position involves strategic decision-making, stakeholder engagement, client relationship management, and effective risk management. The role demands a seasoned professional with extensive experience in infrastructure, pipeline and water projects.

2. Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant field.

· At least 10 years of experience in a similar position.

· Proven track record in managing large-scale projects, particularly in infrastructure and water projects.

· Ability to oversee annual revenue streams in the range of 500 million SAR.

· Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.

· Excellent client and stakeholder management skills.

· Proficient in financial oversight and risk management.

· Familiarity with legal requirements and permit acquisition for projects.

· Priority for transferrable visa.

3. Job Responsibilities:

· Monitor the progress of projects, overseeing financial aspects and ensuring high-quality outcomes

· Make strategic decisions and guide project managers in implementing these decisions effectively.

· Regularly meet with clients, stakeholders, and project managers to report on project progress.

· Liaise with clients to build strong, enduring working relationships.

· Devise cost-effective plans to facilitate successful project completion.

· Manage risks to prevent delays and avoid reputational damage.

· Ensure all necessary permits and legal papers are acquired in advance of project commencement.

· Manage project managers, empowering them to lead their respective teams effectively.
