- Manage and oversee Retailo's entire fleet of vehicles, including trucks, vans, and delivery vehicles.
- Ensure the fleet is well-maintained, safe, and in optimal working condition at all times.
- Implement efficient route planning and tracking systems to maximize delivery efficiency.
- Uphold and enforce safety and regulatory standards for all fleet operations.
- Conduct regular safety training for drivers and other fleet personnel.
- Ensure all vehicles are compliant with legal requirements and perform regular safety
- Schedule and oversee vehicle maintenance and repairs, including routine service and unexpected repairs.
- Work with maintenance teams and external service providers to keep the fleet in excellent condition.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize breakdowns.
- Monitor the performance of the fleet, including on-time delivery rates and fuel efficiency.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Report on fleet performance to senior management.
- Develop and manage the fleet budget, including expenses related to fuel, maintenance, and vehicle acquisition.
- Identify cost-saving measures without compromising safety and quality.
