- Inspect drilling rigs, workover equipment, and other support facilities.
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend actions related to operational safety practices.
- Participate in safety studies and activities using risk assessment and mitigation methodologies.
- Develop and review corporate safety standards and procedures.
- Review designs of oil and gas field facilities for compliance with company and industry safety standards.
- Assist in developing Emergency Response Plans.
- Respond to emergency situations and incidents.
- Support incident investigations and reporting.
- Deliver Loss Prevention-specific training.

Job Overview
We are seeking a Safety Engineer focusing on Drilling & Workover Operations to join the Saudi Aramco Loss Prevention organization (LP).
The LP organization provides both day-to-day in-field occupational and process safety support to Saudi Aramco operations, as well as centralized technical support and consulting function.
Our field offices are located in various locations throughout the Kingdom, providing services to all Saudi Aramco facilities and departments.
Duties and Responsibilities
Requirements
As a successful candidate, you will hold a bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
You will have seven years of relevant oil and gas upstream industry experience, including areas such as drilling operations, well planning, reservoir management, and project management.
You will have excellent communication skills in English and be able to produce clear and concise oral and written reports.
