One of our prestigious clients in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is looking to hire Information Technology Director, with 12 years of experience aligning to the shipbuilding industry to be based in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Job Overview
Manage IT governance & planning, infrastructure, and operations in company's alignment with best practices to ensure effective and efficient IT operations.

Strategic Responsibilities

• Align division goals, processes, and resource allocation with the organizational strategy while maintaining awareness of commercial and business objectives.
• Ensure the accomplishment of organizational unit objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating organizational unit activities.
• Define objectives, identifies, and evaluates trends and options, chooses a course of action, and evaluates outcomes.
• Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
• Maintain quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards, analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems, and recommending system improvements.
• Support with strategic problems resolution and subjective decision making.

Managerial Responsibilities

• Supervise the entire work done by the team members and making sure it is completed on time without any delay.
• Lead the team to complete tasks and meet goals through delegation of responsibilities and supervising business operations.
• Set the vision and motivation of the team in order to achieve the sought objectives efficiently.
• Set appropriate and achievable deadlines.
• Track and report critical organizational unit performance results and escalate and negotiate business related issues to senior management.
• Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

Functional Responsibilities

• Develop IT strategy and ensure its alignment with strategic and business objectives.
• Supervise IT governance and risk management frameworks to ensure safety, security, and business continuity in the organization.
• Recommend optimal IT solutions and execute projects to meet the organization's IT needs, including managing and controlling solution and overseeing IT vendor relations.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and systems.
• Ensure data security, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans are in place and regularly tested.
• Optimize infrastructure to support shipbuilding operations efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Assure that all relevant to technology and IT requests and queries from the organization stakeholders are catered for effectively.
• Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective technology investments.
• Ensure the implementation of cybersecurity recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer science, IT, Digitalization or any other similar field.
• Above 12 years of experience in related field including 6 years in a leadership role.
• Master's Degree in Computer science, IT, Digitalization or any other similar field.
