    The Business Development Manager Pro Imaging will beCanons representative for CME at the Tier1 and Tier2 and EndUserlevel with technological expertise in the designated area of ProImaging (Highend DSLR ProVideo PTZ Camera & Cine Lenses).Tier 1 is defined as Canons incountry distribution partners andregional distribution partners. Tier2 is defined as the reseller ofCanon Products who purchases Canon products from Canons designateddistribution partners and EndUser gets defined as Government and/orlarge corporations in verticals (Oil/Gas Education HealthcareTelecom...).

    • Act asCanons representative at the Tier1 and Tier2 and EndUserlevel.
    • Identify Tier2 channel partners basedon Channel and Account mapping and weightage of each channelcontribution to Canon business and potential of the channel (bycountry). The purpose is to monitor the current coverage by marketand make an improvement plan.
    • Establish Tier2contacts and business relationships with the right representativesof the Tier2 partner (Key Account decision makers).
    • Identify map and determine weightage of enduser verticalsegments contribution to Canon business and potential of thevertical segments.
    • Establish enduser contactsand business relationships with the right representatives of thelarge companies and Governmental Organizations for major verticalsegments by countries (Key Account decision makers).
    • Identify and understand the potential opportunitiesavailable at each Pro Video Account to enhance Canons business andbrand image and market share (Tier2 and Enduser level).
    • Set Marketing activities (training seminar PR) budgetsper each Account (Tier2 and Enduser) based on their activitycalendars if required. Liaise with Canons distributors and theTier2 partners or Endusers to generate a common activitycalendar.
    • Plan and implement the abovedescribed activities based on area strategy product planning andmarket analysis to meet Canon Middle Easts growth objectives (bycountry).
    • Liaise with Product Managersregarding the technical requirements of the customers projects;integrate and be able to assist enduser with a solutionapproach.
    • Liaise with Product Managers toproceed with product launching implement product strategy andprovide a proper feedback to Canon Head office.
    • Maintain track and report all market related informationabout Canon and competitors in terms of new products pricesactivities strategies...
    • Undertake andorganize regular Tier2 and enduser trainings (horizontal andvertical) market assessments and monitor/report on competitoractivity.
    • Visit accounts and businesspartners on a regular basis to provide visible support andassistance where required.
    • Drive accountwisesales information pipeline management and drive the marketingactivities towards enhancing the accountwise sales. Maintain trackand report the sales evaluation.

    Previous Experience/Education

    • Relevantrecognized formal qualifications (university level)Essential.
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in asimilar international or regional sales role (with a similarcompany national distributor or trading company)Essential.
    • Background and knowledge of marketenvironments Essential.
    • Fluency in writtenand spoken English and Arabic Essential.
    • Highlevel of written and spoken communications Essential.
    • Professional appearance attitude and communication styleEssential.
    • Familiarity with MS Officeapplications i.e. Word Excel PowerPoint Power BIEssential.

    PhysicalRequirements
