Job Description

Education/Licensure:

Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science/Programming, Information Technology or equivalent from an accredited university with Minimum of four (4) years experience in information technology systems study, design, and programming, including responsibility on a project for analyzing operational methods and developing computer programs to meet desired results ( Essential).

OR Master Degree in Computer Science/Programming,

Information Technology or equivalent from an accredited university with Minimum of two (2) years in working with a Project Management Team on complex applications, or resolution of complex information technology systems problems, and working independently as a technical specialist (Essential).

Project Management Professional certificate (PMP) or equivalent (Desirable).
Proven professional experience as a BA. IIBA certification (Desirable).
Requirements and Responsibilities

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with developers, programmers in conceptualizing and development of new software programs and applications.
• Analyze and assess existing business systems and procedures.
• Identifying and addressing operational, financial and technological risks within the business.
• Plans, performs, and acts as the escalation point for the most complex platform designs, coding, and testing.
• Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Follows the standard system development lifecycle and ensure other adhere to the standards
• Create new and/or modify existing programs to implement selected solutions.
• Ability to interpret data models (e.g., Entity Relationship Diagrams) to develop an application.
• Ability to design data models to meet system requirements.
• Ability to apply creative thinking in the design and development of methods of processing data within information technology systems.
• Ability to write technical reports to ensure processes performed are appropriately recorded.
• Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
• Ability to develop work plans and other project management documents to monitor work projects.
• Liaises with end users and provide system feasibility report and specifications for automation.
• Ability to identify performance issues and opportunities for improvements in the system being supported.
• Understands Business requirements, data challenges, and identifies business needs.
• Ability to work independently on projects or assignments without close supervision or detailed instructions to achieve intended results.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and/or assignments concurrently.
• Analyze projects and provide directions and solutions.
• Performs all duties in a professional, effective and confidential manner.
• Performs all other related duties as required or assigned.
