Job Summary

We areseeking a strong senior level reservoir engineer with extensiveunconventional reservoir experience to join our UnconventionalReservoir Engineering Department.

Your primaryrole should be to provide technical strategic solutions to thedevelopment of unconventional asset. To perform well evaluationplay assessments and generate reliable production forecasts for theCompany. You should work within a multi disciplinary teamconsisting of geoscientists and engineers involved in theassessment and development of the specific UR assets. You willsupport the team with your experience in reservoir characterizationand modeling reservoir management performance and surveillance todevelop and execute a field development plan for Ultra tight andChannels sand reservoirs.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement innovative solutions fordepletion strategies reservoir performance analysis and fielddevelopment plans for unconventional resource plays.
• Study reservoir and well performance data anddevelop/supervise reservoir surveillance programs and reservoirmanagement activities.
• Supervise and conductcomprehensive fracture modeling and simulation studies to identifyoptimal well spacing completions design unconventional reservoirmanagement strategies and opportunities.
• Organize and lead multifunctional peer reviews to supportand improve field development design.
• Monitoroperating expenses to operate and maintain wells to produce thehighest volumes of oil and gas at the lowest cost.
• Prepare annual volumes and expenses forbudgeting.
• Monitor and analyze well tests andproduction curves.
• Gather perform calculationson and analyze data such as well tests fluid levels bottomholepressures and decline curves to assure efficient producing andequipment utilization.
• Coordinate all aspectsof new completions especially design of fracturestimulation.
• Work closely withmultidisciplinary teams in planning and conducting fieldstudies.
• Prepare requirements for wellconstruction develop well designs for new wells and providetechnical assistance to drilling staff to ensure that each well iscompleted in a safe and efficient manner.
• Provide economic evaluation to support fastpaceddevelopment decisions and work closely with drilling completionsand production teams.
• Develop and implementefficient reservoir engineering and organizationalpractices.
• Provide onthejob coaching andmentoring to help develop the capabilities of team members toenable them to grow technically and perform their jobs effectivelyand efficiently.

Requirements:

• This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
• Bachelors degree inPetroleum Engineering or a related science relevant to the requireddiscipline. An advanced degree is preferred which would reduceprerequisite work experience by one year for a masters degree andtwo years for a PhD.
• 2025 years of experiencewith at least 10 years in unconventional plays including shaletight gas/condensate or channel reservoirs. Internationalexperience in unconventional hydrocarbon basins isrequired.
• Experience or a good understandingof stimulation program design open hole and cased hole loggingcapabilities well test analysis (pressure transient analysis andrate transient analysis) decline curve analysis dynamic reservoirmodeling reserves classification EUR predictions and well spacingoptimization to support key development decisions.
• Knowledge of applications such as IHS Harmony KappaWorkstation Suite (Saphir Topaze minimum) ECLIPSE Kinetix GOHFER(DFIT Analysis capabilities) Petroleum Expert CMG Peep OFM MOSAICPVTsim NOVA and EOS modeling is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fastpaced environmentand handle ambiguity in analysis.
• Solidorganizational and time management skills with the ability to workwith limited data.
• Excellent written andverbal communication skills with the ability to generate managementreports.
• Strong computer skills and dataanalysis experience preferably with Spotfire or OFM.
• Good business planning acumen including economic analysisand project management. Familiarity with field development/economicconcepts with a broad knowledge in drilling completions andreservoir stimulation technologies including an understanding ofhorizontal multistage fracturing for unconventionalreservoirs.
