Your role

We're seeking a risk manager for our governance, risk and compliance team. You will be crucial in strengthening strategies and processes to mitigate a spectrum of risks including fraud, regulatory, operational and compliance exposures.

With a proven track record in developing of wide-ranging risk mitigation frameworks and a deep understanding of the behaviors that drive risk within the organization. Collaborating with various departments, you will refine preventive measures and deploy tailored solutions across business segments, aiming to diminish the frequency and impact of risk events and ultimately revolutionize the way millions of users shop, pay, and bank.

Your Responsibilities

• Strategic Risk Management: Lead the creation and refinement of fraud risk management strategies. Drive the process of identifying risk factors and implement solutions to mitigate these across all business interactions.
• Risk Analysis and Process Reporting: Oversee the monitoring of fraud trends and generate reports that inform process enhancements. Establish systems for the early detection of potential risk events and coordinate investigative efforts.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with different teams to develop and streamline fraud management processes. Facilitate rapid response protocols to emerging threats to safeguard business interests.
• Process Enhancement: Evaluate and refine existing fraud prevention methodologies to bolster the organization's risk framework and reduce fraud instances.
• Leadership and Training: Mentor and guide team members, advocating a culture of risk awareness and integrity. Spearhead organizational training initiatives to elevate risk management competencies across the company.
  
  

Your expertise

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, backed by a solid experience in risk management within a business environment, highlighting a strong emphasis on process enhancement and operational efficiency.
• Demonstrated experience in crafting and refining risk management procedures and frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a capacity for critical thinking and process optimization.
• Adept at multitasking and managing high-pressure situations, maintaining composure and focus to drive process improvements.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to foster a proactive learning environment.
• An innovative mindset, with a penchant for identifying and implementing process advancements in risk management.
