This entity aims to attain the 2030 vision of Saudi Arabia wherein the country is closer to contributing towards a greener and sustainable planet. The organization is planning and implementing effective programs with best global experts on coral reefs and turtle to train the local talent. Furthermore, the entity aims to promote innovation in environmental conservation by driving research, community engagement, strategic partnerships and effective coordination with other stakeholders. Job Description
• Manage the field support function to facilitate all field work operations such surveys, monitoring, conservation activities, emergency response, data collection etc.
• Prepares and ensures that specialists and field staff receive the logistical support they need to carry out their technical duties.
• Develop and provide all field work operations such as coastal and underwater surveys, offshore surveys, conservation activities, emergency response, data collection etc.
• Provide the provision field support such as boats, ground transportation and remote accommodation.
• Develop and implement management plans for all the Organizations facilities including office buildings, Research Center, Field Stations.
• Oversees the work of the maintenance contractors
• Develop emergency response and preparedness plans and insure all are reviewed and approved by concerned the national establishment/s. to respond to emergency incidents such as ship groundings and other physical impacts to coral The Successful Applicant
• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Marine Sciences or Facilities Management plus relevant work experience
• Fluent Written and Spoken Arabic Required
• Business Proficiency in Written and Spoken English
• Critical Leadership Competencies such as Project Management, Collaboration, Resource Management
• Applicable Leadership Competencies such as Influencing/ Negotiating and Decisiveness
