- Provide consultation on all aspects of normal and emergency plant maintenance procedures and standards.
- Provide technical support to maintenance and machine shop daily operation.
- Support installation, maintenance and repair of rotating equipment
- Troubleshoot, repair, modify existing equipment and Identify cost reductions & process improvements.
- Introduce the latest technology in repair methodology.
- Ability to design engineering packages.
- Provide coaching and knowledge sharing to Junior Engineers.
- Participate in vendor and customer exchange meetings.
- Participate in standards value engineering.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of five years' hand on experience in the Mechanical field.
- Candidate must have the following field experience requirements:
- Candidate shall have a strong background in the investigation of turbine malfunctions and incidents, turbine outages planning and execution, and field projects/activities management. Incumbent should know different turbine component repair processes and key quality control steps in addition to the ability to identify spare parts required for turbines, generators, and their auxiliaries maintenance.
- Experience in the mechanical design, troubleshooting and major repair of oil and gas rotating equipment such as Gas and Steam turbines.
- Experience in manufacturing with OEM (original equipment manufacturing) facility such as, GE, Siemens, MHI, BH.
- Excellent English reading and writing.
