    The Catering Manager plays apivotal role in overseeing the strategic planning and operationalexecution of catering services with a primary focus on largescaleevents for upscale dining establishments. This position requiresadept management of highquality catering operations ensuringexceptional customer experiences andprofitability.

    Financial Management and BudgetOversight:

    Lead the quarterlyforecasting and yearly budgetingprocess.

    Manage client budgets foreach catering event.

    Provide fullinternal costings for all events seeking approval beforeproceeding.

    Implement monitor andmanage eventspecific Profit and Loss (P&L) in collaborationwith the Finance team.

    Collaboratewith the finance team to analyze financial reports and identifyopportunities for improvement.

    Provide quotations and support in the collection ofpayments.

    OperationalManagement:

    Ensure operationalexcellence to clients highquality eventstandards.

    Implement best practicesto optimize workflow and resourceallocation.

    Ensure an exceptionalguest journey through frontofhouse (FOH) training and developmentof all team members.

    Implement andensure full compliance with the required protocol for allevents.

    Manage backofhouse (BOH)operations including policies andprocedures.

    Provide regular menuupdates and changes to align with markettrends.

    LogisticManagement:

    Manage BOH transportationstores and raw materials logistics.

    QualityControl:

    Ensure consistent qualitystandards in food preparation andservice.

    Monitor and maintainadherence to food safety and hygieneregulations.

    Conduct regular qualityaudits to uphold guest satisfaction.

    Ensure all food items meet correct standards for quality andtemperature.

    Implement health andsafety measures.

    CustomerService:

    Be the key contact for allclients representing the companyprofessionally.

    Head up all events onthe day maintaining excellent servicestandards.

    Address customer feedbackand implement improvements.

    Maintainexcellent client relationships and proactively respond to clientrequests.

    Champion a customercentricculture.

    TeamLeadership:

    Provide direct leadershipand guidance to catering teams.

    Foster a positive and motivated workenvironment.

    Oversee traininginitiatives.

    Expansion and GrowthStrategies:

    Collaborate with seniormanagement on expansion plans and newventures.

    Manage the opening of newcatering locations.

    Ensure seamlessintegration of new establishments into the existing operationalframework.



    Requirements

    Qualificationsand Experience:

    Proven experience (7 years) in senior operational roles within theevent catering industry.
    Bachelors degree in hospitality management or a relatedfield.
