Gauteng Partnership Fund (GPF): Finance, Accounting and Business Admin Internship Programme 2023

Position Title: Financial Analyst Intern

Contract: 12 Months contract

Responsibilities:

• The candidate is expected to deliver on the following detailed key performance areas:
• Grow financial performance through analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends
• Create recommendations to be presented to management and executives
• Develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting
• Aid in the capital budgeting and expenditure planning processes
• Reconcile existing transactions through cross-referencing of incoming and outgoing data
• Conduct comparable analysis and market research to support internal financial analysis
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of financial instruments, market conditions, and trends
• Analysing targets.
• Meeting with department heads.
• Managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting, and reforecast processes.
• Providing back-office services

Requirements:

• National Diploma / Degree in:

1. Finance / Accounting,
2. Business Administration,
3. Investment,
4. Financial Accounting,
5. or other related fields

• No work experience in a related field.
• The applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years
