Responsiblefor providing technical sales support, assistance and backup to theKey Account Managers in the client interaction and sales processfor all plant, equipment, spare parts & technical servicesResponsible for compiling technical & commercial proposalsbased on scope of work provided by Key Accounts Ensure successful& timeous execution & delivery of Supply ChainManagement

Responsibilities:

• Performmarket and supplier analysis & evaluations on an on-goingbasis and provide recommendations to
• Identifypotential new manufacturing outsource partners and together withQuality Assurance Manager perform evaluations on their capability,capacity and quality
• SupportKey Accounts Managers to ensure knowledge of spare parts andservice requirements and to enable company to tender successfullyfor such required spare parts and technical services, and topropose new equipment that will suit relevant customer
• Keep upto date with activities of company competition within SADC, plusKenya market and report to
• SupportKey Accounts Managers in building contacts & relationshipswith multi levels within our existing installed client base andkeep regular contact with
• Buildcontacts & relationships with various levels within ourexisting supplier base and with potentially new suppliers and keepregular contact with
• Keep upto date with all company brochures and technology
• Performspare parts and technical services enquiry
• Whererequired, facilitate interaction between group and
• Supportestimation activities and quotation
• Maintainpricing calculation systems in line with company pricing strategiesand ensure the integrity
• SupportKey Accounts Managers with pricing estimation activities as
• Supporttender preparation &
• Supporttechnical contract negotiations with
• Responsiblefor supplier selection, pricing facilitation & negotiation,and execution
• Responsiblefor supplier technical & commercial scope clarification,delivery schedule, contract negotiation &
• Facilitate,and obtain supplier tenders for spare parts & services
• Evaluatetenders for spare parts and services
• Supportall relevant activities to ensure accurate final price
• Responsiblefor technical scope in tender
• Ensuretenders are submitted on
• Conductsite meetings with Key Account Managers, suppliers &
• Supportclient tender clarification
• Conductsupplier tender clarification
• SupportMD in strategic product/service development
• Facilitatesupply to & from other group subsidiaries with regards bothtechnical & pricing
• Responsibleto manage, monitor, control, expedite and execute incoming ordersfor projects, spare parts and technical
• Responsibleto manage incoming order execution financial & technicalstatus and ensure adherence to agreed terms and conditions,including initiation of milestone

• EnsureChange Order Request Management for any/all change in scope ofsupply/services between company and client, or between company and

Requirements:Qualification and Skill

• A minimumof a Mechanical Engineering qualification is
• A goodknowledge of iron and steel production, casting, rolling,processing, forging, non-ferrous metals production, extrusion, andferro-alloy smelting industries are
• Priormechanical job execution experience within a metals processingoperating plant within operations/maintenance/engineering in one ofthe above industries is
• Anunderstanding of metallurgical processing plant equipment,components, spare parts and services is
• Highcompetency in reading and interpreting technical documents,engineering drawings, and bills of
• Priorexperience working with SADC regional workshops in the manufacture(fabrication & machining) of
