As an Offshore Pipelines Designer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of offshore pipeline systems for our clients in the UAE.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and develop offshore pipeline systems, including route selection, material selection, and installation methodologies
    • Produce technical drawings and documentation for pipeline projects
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate pipeline designs with overall project requirements
    • Perform calculations and analysis to validate design integrity and functionality
    • Review and evaluate contractors' proposals, technical specifications, and materials for pipeline projects
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications
    • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor installation, testing, and commissioning of offshore pipeline systems
    • Maintain accurate documentation of design revisions, change orders, and project progress

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore pipeline design
    • Strong knowledge of offshore pipeline design principles, materials, and installation methods
    • Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD or similar tools
    • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as ASME B31.4 and API 1104
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
    • Willingness to travel to project sites as required
