    Job Title: Senior Audit Professional

    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced finance and audit professional to work in our Saudi Arabia business based in Al Khobar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, with experience in performing operational audits and ensuring the adequacy and integrity of financial information.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Recommend a comprehensive audit plan to the Head of Financial Audit for each audit.
    • Develop, implement, and modify procedures to ensure thorough audit coverage, taking into account changing operational circumstances.
    • Perform and supervise operational audits to verify the accuracy and reliability of financial information, appropriate transaction authorization, safeguarding of assets, and regulatory compliance.
    • Review the work of subordinates, provide guidance, and correct errors.
    • Maintain adequate work papers and documents, and prepare records to substantiate time and other costs incurred in performing audits.
    • Evaluate the correction of exceptions and recommendations contained in prior audit reports, public accountant reports, and supervisory authorities.
    • Comply with the Audit Standards, Policies, and Procedures manual requirements.

    Requirements

    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
    • Experience in the FS sector.
    • Understanding of generally accepted accounting practices.
    • Familiarity with bank operations and lines of business.
    • Knowledge of audit standards and techniques, including current pronouncements of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
    • Conversant with Banking regulations and regulatory requirements for locations under responsibility.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, as well as the business language of the location.
    • Able to prepare effectively worded audit comments and present them to management.
    • Ability to integrate and work effectively within the Financial Audit team, while conducting professional interactions with auditees at all times.
