    One of our esteemed clients from the Oil & Gas Industry is seeking a Sales Manager(Drilling Rig Equipment) to be based in Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

    Job Overview: As Sales Manager you will be supporting the sales process from enquiry/opportunity source, proposal submission through to contract signature. You shall have awareness of customer and competitor activity to ensure the organization is best placed to grow in the region. This role will champion sales and business growth of the organization with a focus on Aftermarket Services.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the KSA market with focus on aftermarket services.
    • Gathering market intelligence, generating leads and securing contracts to meet the business targets.
    • Manage customers relationships, sales and service opportunities in the regional market.
    • Lead the tender and proposal activities in the region by capturing customer needs, organize clarification meetings supported by the wider team.
    • Acquisition of new customers through business development activities.
    • Identify customer needs, develop proposals and establish purchase and service agreements.
    • Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences in alignment with the Marketing department.
    • Monitor the respective market, trends, demands, customers rig fleets and investment plans.
    • Continuous competitor analysis and reporting of information and suggested actions.
    • Use CRM for all sales activities in cooperation with the internal sales teams.
    • Technical and commercial analysis of inquiries and tenders.
    • Preparation of offers in cooperation with other departments.
    • Contribute to delivering the annual targets associated to the business plan.

    Qualifications:

    • Technical background and understanding of the Oil & Gas Industry.
    • Experience of 8+years in a sales role within the drilling rig equipment aftermarket sector.
    • Understand the operations and service plans for rig equipment.
    • Fluent spoken and written English & Arabic language skills.
    • Customer-centric mind-set.
    • Able to connect with existing and new prospects.
    • An interest beyond oil and gas, and an understanding in the Energy Transition needs of our customers.
