Job Summary

We areseeking an experienced Instructional Designer to join ourDownstream Development Academy (DDA). The DDA is responsible forproviding Downstream oil and gas employees with the technicalknowledge and skills required to optimize their performance. Yourprimary role will be to create training materials in collaborationwith subject matter experts. You will do this through integratingthe best practices of instructional design and instructionaltechnology through the use of multimedia software programming andstate of the art technology.

Responsibilities:

• Work with customers and stakeholders toinitiate new training projects and assess their trainingneeds.
• Collaborate with subject matter expertsto develop appropriate training solutions.
• Apply instructional design principles to create engagingtraining courses for various delivery modes.
• Manage multiple instructional design and developmentprojects including timelines schedules work scope anddeliverables.
• Support the development of teammembers through knowledge sharing and mentoring.
• Design and collect metrics to measure the effectivenessof training programs.

Requirements:

• Willing to permanently relocateat Dhahran Saudi Arabia.
• Bachelors degree in Education Information TechnologyEngineering or equivalent. A Masters degree ispreferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience ininstructional design and instructional technology. Experience inthe oil and gas industry is preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of learning theories and instructionaldesign models.
• Ability to demonstrate lessonand curriculum planning skills.
• Proficient inusing Windows and Mac Operating Systems.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in using Adobe Captivate Articulate 360Dominknow ONE Camtasia and Adobe Photoshop.
