Job Purpose

As a developing Instrumentation Technician performs routine maintenance tasks, under general supervision, which have simple specific objectives.

Role responsibilities:

• Under supervision repairs and replaces simple parts, sensors, making adjustments following procedures and equipment manuals.
• Takes basic measurements in equipment with supervision.
• installs and dismantles, makes adjustments on instrumentation equipment with supervision.
• Assesses basic problems and deviations from the standard inspections and does simple adjustment, with supervision.
• Verifies simple and basic task results and tracks instruments to detect possible problems.
• Assists more senior department members in the performance of basic duties as required.
• Uses basic testing equipment and tools and control to test and troubleshoot, with supervision.
• Develops and applies the basic required skills and qualifications related to the job with help of more senior technicians.
• Complies with all relevant HSE standards seeks to ensure a healthy, safe work environment and working practices at all times
• Basic Knowledge of - Transmitter, valves, loops, controllers, and test equipment, PLC's Logic, Reading Drawing's

Qualification and Requirements:

• 3 years experience with a Diploma
