- Subcontract Management: Coordinate the end-to-end subcontracting process, including identification, selection, and evaluation of subcontractors. Ensure that all contractual agreements align with project requirements and company standards.
- Contract Negotiation: Strategically negotiate contract terms and conditions to secure favorable agreements for the company. Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to review and finalize contracts.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations in all subcontracting activities. Mitigate potential risks and supervise subcontractors' compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Vendor Relationship Management: Develop and maintain positive relationships with subcontractors and vendors. Develop open communication, address concerns, and resolve any issues that may arise during the project execution.
- Cost Control: Collaborate with finance and project management teams to supervise subcontracting costs, track expenses, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising on quality or project deliverables .
- Performance Evaluation: Assess subcontractors' performance based on key performance indicators and agreed-upon metrics. Provide feedback to subcontractors and initiate corrective actions when vital.
- Continuous Improvement: Find opportunities for process enhancements and drive improvements in the subcontract management process. Implement standard operating procedures to optimize efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all subcontract-related documentation, including contracts, amendments, change orders, and other relevant correspondence.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks associated with subcontracting activities and develop risk mitigation strategies. Work with project teams to address and resolve any issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables.
- Multi-functional Partnership: Collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, legal departments, and other customers to ensure smooth coordination of subcontracting activities and successful project outcomes .

Job Description and Qualifications
The Jazan IGCC is the world's largest IGCC and ASU facility producing 2100 MMSCFD syngas, 18,000 MT/Day Oxygen and 4 Gigawatts of power. Facilities and assets include residue gasification, acid gas clean up (Rectisol), soot ash recovery, Sulphur recovery (Claus & Scot), combined cycle power plants, materials handling systems, hydrogen recovery, air separation, water utilities systems and wastewater treatment facilities.
The Role: Subcontract Specialist
Requirements of the Role:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
Work Scope to be delivered:
As a Senior Subcontract Specialist, you will play a relevant role in handling our company's subcontracting activities and ensuring effective collaboration with external vendors and subcontractors. Your expertise will be instrumental in negotiating, drafting, and driving subcontract agreements, while ensuring compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
