    Job Summary

    Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join the CEO's office as Business Planning Manager / Executive Assistant. The role acts as a 'Super-connector' in the CEO office to manage end to end administrative support including diary management and assist in various aspects to support the country CEO. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills and pay particular attention to detail
    • The role is focused on supporting in driving functional performance / results through
      • facilitating the implementation of Bank-wide initiatives
      • supporting discussions and decision-making at various forums / committees
      • delivering efficiency, change, and functional performance agendas
      • connecting with multiple markets and workstreams and reviewing optimal operating rhythm
    • The role shall understand Corporate Plan inside out and be able to influence outcome with country and various Subject Matter Experts
    • This is a strategic role with a focus on growing our client-focused community with our business stakeholders.
    • The role also provides extensive exposure to senior management

    Responsibilities

    Strategy

    • To support the CEO in the articulation and delivery of strategic initiatives in the country including enabling the timely execution and progress of key strategic programmes.
    • Proactively track and measure the performance of the function in delivering the strategic agenda, and identify gaps and actions required to deliver the agenda.
    • Assisting with design and refresh of strategic plans by closely working with country and regional teams. Drive alignment of objectives and scorecard metrics to strategic goals.
    • Support the implementation of the various transformation projects in the country and relevant business

    Business

    • Day-to-day business management for the CEO, including monitoring and tracking of functional performance, budgets, client related matters as well as establishing and maintaining appropriate processes/mechanisms for efficient tracking and monitoring.
    • Prepare reports, presentations, papers, and review materials to support discussions and decision making at various forums.
    • Responsible to support CEO to execute Corporate Plan including support on the delivery of the scorecard objectives and outcomes aligned to strategic goals of Workplace Experience, Safety, Efficiency and Sustainability
    • Take responsibility for the planning, co-ordination and project management ad-hoc and confidential initiatives run by the country
    • Assist the CEO in driving the business agenda and bring alignment across the business and functions by working with the department heads and Support business engagements with other teams / partners / peers in the Bank.

    Processes

    • Ensure and efficient filing and records management for the CEO office
    • Ensure meeting deadlines and that all global policies are adhered to
    • Review and manage the e-procurement requests on behalf of the CEO and challenge departments to ensure adherence to supply chain policies.
    • On behalf of CEO, review the T&E requests submitted for approval and ensure they are aligned with T&E guidelines.
    • Maintain an accurate record of G&E and review G&E approval requests.
    • Support the deployment of Group people policies, products and processes to drive engagement thereby driving business performance.
    • Support the CEO at relevant committees by reviewing papers and providing analysis of the content to ensure that key issues/ risks/ insights are highlighted.
    • Support CEO ahead of material issues and act as the point of contact to help manage issues/ solve problems.

    People & Talent

    • Coordinate continuous feedback session with all business / function heads Assist and official P3 review sessions.
    • Ensure that all direct / matrix reports of the CEO hold an up to date Job Descriptions.
    • Ensure the provision of ongoing training and development of people
    • Assist CEO to review team structure and succession plans.
    • Support CEO in embedding any organisation structure changes from time to time.
    • Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from the team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners
    • Assist CEO on the team structure/capacity plans regularly and feed opportunities into the country Target Operating Model refresh

    Risk Management

    • Oversee and support activities including Audits- ensuring satisfactory closure of audit and operational risk points.

    Governance

    • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group and Regions operates and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the country
    • Comply with the Group Code of Conduct
    • Comply with Group's policies and procedures
    • Support the CEO in reporting to the Cluster/Regional CEO office on progress.
    • Assist the CEO to drive improvement of governance environment including close monitoring of regulatory projects.
