    JOB PURPOSE

    • Jobholders at this level are capable of operating with minimal supervision. They work within guidelines and procedures in order to prepare more complex, specialized or ad-hoc reports in their related field. They contribute to the completion of milestones or operational targets within the assigned functional area.

    They undertake operational activities including following-up on the key decisions, coordinating project management activities of GSTC functions, and preparing Committee remuneration reports.

    Roles And Responsibilities

    • Collect needed data and conduct proper analysis in order to develop detailed reports highlighting proposed GSTC's strategy
    • Communicate GSTC's approved strategic objectives and priorities to concerned functions and support in the development of annual functional and operating plans and strategy accordingly
    • Collect and consolidate functional, operational and budgetary plans, and coordinate with Strategy and Development function to seek management approval
    • Develop and define KPIs and targets for functions ensuring alignment with GSTC's strategic objectives
    • Ensure proper implementation of approved functional and operational plans and support internal functions in resolving challenges
    • Coordinate the implementation of cross-organizational activities and initiatives ensuring functions' adherence and compliance to organizational mandates
    • Communicate continuously with internal functions to discuss work progress, provide administrative and technical support when required, and support them in addressing issues and challenges
    • Coordinate with Strategy and Development function and act as a focal point for business processes' update ensuring alignment with set guidelines, templates and strategic objectives
    • Follow-up on the project management activities of GSTC functions and develop status update reports
    • Develop programs to raise the capabilities of Committee members and evaluate and report on effectiveness and results
    • Prepare remuneration reports of Committee members and discuss with concerned functions in preparation for remuneration and financial incentives' processing
    • Draft recommended action plans based on meetings' outcomes, communicate it with relevant stakeholders and follow-up on implementation of key decisions
    • Develop progress and statistical reports and executive summaries on action plans and decisions' implementation status
    • Coordinate requests received from internal stakeholders across functions, address requirements and report on status ensuring fulfilment in a timely and accurate manner
    • Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
    • Help in solving escalated problems and provide needed support for junior team to ensure work is carried out in an efficient manner
    • Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure cases/issues are closed properly
    • Perform other duties as requested
    • Train junior staff on the different job activities to ensure transfer of know-how, when applicable
    • Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility, and monitor the workflow of subordinates/ junior staff
    • Support junior staff or direct reports in order to execute their duties according to set policies and processes
