    Leidos is a FORTUNE 500 companybringing a mix of innovative technology and sector expertise tocustomers in the national security engineering and the healthindustries.

    Leidos is seeking a C4I SoftwareEngineer to support the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) in the Kingdomof Saudi Arabia. The Software Engineer will be part of theContractor Engineering and Technical Support team in support of aU.S. Air Force Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program to the Kingdomof Saudi Arabia.

    This is a oneyear assignmentwith option to renew.

    PrimaryResponsibilities:

    • Perform analysis andresolution of Applications Tech software (including Telling WeaponsTracking) related STRs and proposedenhancements.
    • Perform analysis and resolutionof Data Center gateway software.
    • Develop andmaintain software source code databases tools and interfaces withrelated systems and system platforms related to Applications andApplications Tech software.
    • Perform all aspectsof this maintenance in conformance with established processes andprocedures as documented in RSAF 171 series manuals CDRLs CSWPsetc.
    • Updates to software related documentationincluding RSAF 171 series manuals andSOPs
    • Develops and conducts software tests toensure that the software and requirementsagree.
    • Develops and conducts regression teststo ensure that software changes have produced desired resultswithout degradation in other areas.
    • Documentstest plans procedures and results in accordance with establishedstandards and procedures (CDRLs SOW RSAF 171 CSWPetc.).
    • Prepares and conducts special tests fordemonstration/verification of new softwarecapabilities.
    • Provide OJT when required by theRSAF.

    RequiredQualifications:

    • Masters degree and 10years experience; or Bachelors degree and 12 years experience; 4additional years of related experience with proper certificationswill be acceptable in lieu of a Bachelorsdegree.
    • Engineering experience with coding inlanguages including but not limited to C C C# andFortran.
    • Effective communication andcollaboration skills.
    • Experience withSQL.
    • Familiarity withLinux.
    • Understanding of virtualmachines.
    • Experience with version controlsoftware and configuration management includingCVS.
    • Experience with softwaretesting.
    • Familiarity with network protocolsincluding TCP/IP and HDLC.
    • Familiarity withCommandandControl systems is a plus.
    • Knowledgeof VAX and VMS is a plus.

    While subject to change based onbusiness needs Leidos reasonably anticipates that this jobrequisition will remain open for at least 3 days with ananticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the originalposting date as listed above.

    Pay Range: PayRange $ $

    The Leidos pay rangefor this job level is a general guideline only and not a guaranteeof compensation or salary. Additional factors considered inextending an offer include (but are not limited to)responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skillsand abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market dataapplicable bargaining agreement (if any) or otherlaw.
