    Roleoverview

    Tofunction as a Pastry Chef De Partie for the Calo Kitchen to workalongside the head chef to manage daily kitchen activitiesincluding overseeing staff aiding with menu preparation ensuringfood quality and freshness monitoring ordering and stocking. Thesuccessful candidate will employ their culinary and managerialskills in order to play a critical role in maintaining andenhancing our customerssatisfaction.

    MainResponsibilities

    • Ensurethat the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our qualitystandards
    • Resourcefully solve any issues thatarise and seize control of any problematicsituation
    • Manage and train the pastry teamestablish working schedule and assess staffsperformance
    • Must be able to clearly communicatetasks to team members
    • Maintain standards forpastry storage rotation quality andappearance.
    • Creating new and exciting dessertsto renew our menus and engage the interest ofcustomers
    • Order supplies to stock the pastryinventory appropriately
    • Comply with and enforcesanitation regulations and safetystandards
    • Maintain a positive and professionalapproach with coworkers
    • Produce highqualityplates both design andtastewise

    IdealCandidate:

    Qualifications

    • Musthave 35 years of experience for the DCDP position and 58 years forthe CDP position within the hospitality or cateringindustry
    • Must be currently present inKSA
    • Must be a proficient communicator inEnglish
    • Previous experience in a foodmanufacturing facility experience is aplus

    • Exceptionalproven ability of kitchen management
    • Ability individing responsibilities and monitoringprogress
    • Outstanding communication andleadership skills
    • Uptodate with culinary trendsand optimized kitchenprocesses
