    Job Description

    AECOM Arabia are currently seeking a Program Manager for a large-scale program. The Program Manager will lead the development, implementation, and compliance of built environment asset development stages. The Program Manager will play a key role in supporting the objectives of the Program Director Assets, specifically in leading the independent assurance of development stage gate governance for all vertical assets in the development Portfolio. They provide an essential interface between County master planning, asset delivery, infrastructure provision, and asset operations.

    Responsibilities:

  • Provide independent assurance to the client leadership on project and program compliance on stage gate governance documentation.
  • Develop and implement Operational Plans for AECOM program management assets team
  • Work with Assets Team and client Stakeholders to create an implementation plan that provides targets for projects to progress through the Stage Gate development life cycle.
  • Track and report on Program performance using appropriate metrics and ensure that the Program is meeting its goals and objectives.
  • Implement Program Management and Governance functions to realize Program success
  • Implement Program initiatives aligned with local and national regulations, policies, and international best practice
  • Prepare and present reports, presentations, and other materials to Senior Management and other Stakeholders, communicating project status, risks, and opportunities
  • Lead Assets/Infrastructure team to ensure implementation of the Stage Gate process and regular status reporting of the assets that fall under the program management' s remit is progressed and up to date
  • Identify and close-out mitigations assigned on the PC Risk Register with the Assets Team
  • Manage Program team, assign tasks, and ensure that team members are working collaboratively to achieve program goals.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering or Project Management).
  • Proven experience (minimum of 20 years) in program management, preferably within the tourism, cultural heritage, or related industries.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, drive collaboration, and manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Extensive knowledge of program management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex programs with multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience working in the Middle East or with diverse international teams.
  • Passion for cultural heritage preservation, sustainable tourism, and community development.
