    One of our prestigious clients is looking to hire a Interface Affairs Director, with 12+ years of experience In the Ship building industry who will be responsible for but not limited to:

    Job Overview

    Lead the Post Merger Integration (PMI) between the Company and a new 'small
    naval' company, ensuring strategic alignment and shareholder value through coordinating business development activities, tailoring program management policies, fostering efficient cooperation, optimizing resource utilization, and facilitating collaborative procurement data management.

    Strategic Responsibilities

    • Align division goals, processes, and resource allocation with the organizational strategy while maintaining awareness of commercial and business objectives.
    • Ensure the accomplishment of organizational unit objectives by managing staff;
      planning and evaluating organizational unit activities.
    • Define objectives, identifies, and evaluates trends and options, chooses a course of
      action, and evaluates outcomes.
    • Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual
      budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
    • Support with strategic problems resolution and subjective decision making.

    Managerial Responsibilities

    • Supervise the entire work done by the team members and making sure it is completed on time without any delay.
    • Lead the team to complete tasks and meet goals through delegation of responsibilities and supervising business operations.
    • Set the vision and motivation of the team in order to achieve the sought objectives
      efficiently.
    • Set appropriate and achievable deadlines.
    • Track and report critical organizational unit performance results and escalate and
      negotiate business related issues to senior management.
    • Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

    Functional Responsibilities

    • Take charge of the Post Merger Integration (PMI) process between the Company and the new 'small naval' company, ensuring a strategic alignment that maximizes shareholder value.
    • Spearhead initiatives to seamlessly integrate operations and strategies during the
      merger.
    • Ensure cohesive alignment of new business development activities between the
      companies.
    • Adhere to established governance models and delegated authorities, maintaining a
      focus on effective and strategic offer-making.
    • Customize program management policies, systems, and tools to suit the distinctive business profiles of each company.
    • Implement and oversee risk management, technical data management, and
      performance monitoring and control, tailoring approaches to enhance program
      efficiency.
    • Establish and nurture internal conditions that promote efficient cooperation and shared work between companies and programs.
    • Optimize the use of industrial resources and production costs to enhance overall
      operational efficiency.
    • Foster internal conditions for effective collaboration and sharing of procurement data between companies and programs.
    • Maximize buying power and minimize supply costs for infrastructure, tools, equipment, and materials through collaborative procurement strategies.
    • Collaborate across company functions to research and implement best practices in program management.
    • Drive the adoption of new systems, tools, and methods as part of the continuous
      improvement program.
    • Introduce innovative systems, tools, and methods to foster continuous improvement within the company.
    • Regularly assess and enhance existing processes to ensure ongoing optimization.
      Foster a culture of collaboration with all functions within the organization to ensure a holistic approach to program management.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture or any other similar field.
    • Above 12 years of experience in related field including 6 years in a leadership role.
    • Master's Degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture or any other similar field.
