- Conductresearch and development activities to identify evaluate and selectmaterials for use in our products andprocesses.
- Perform materials characterizationand testing including mechanical thermal chemical andmicrostructural analysis to assess material properties andperformance.
- Collaborate with crossfunctionalteams including engineering manufacturing and quality assurance todevelop material specifications and ensure materials meet projectrequirements and standards.
- Provide technicalexpertise and support to resolve materialsrelated issues andchallenges during product development production andservice.
- Evaluate new materials technologiesand processes to identify opportunities for innovation costreduction and performance improvement.
- Developand maintain documentation including material specifications testreports and technical data sheets to support product developmentmanufacturing and quality controlactivities.
- Stay current with advances inmaterials science and technology industry trends and regulatoryrequirements and apply this knowledge to enhance our materialsdevelopment and engineeringcapabilities.
- Ensure compliance with companypolicies procedures and safety regulations and promote a culture ofsafety and environmental responsibility in materialsrelatedactivities.
- Bachelorsdegree in materials science or metallurgicalengineering.
